Earthquakes, Grizzly Cubs & Rainstorms Oh My!

Yep it was a total Alaskan experience yesterday !  First we started off with a 5.5 earthquake which lasted nearly a minute!  Alaska usually gets a daily earthquake but this one was impressive!

Next came the cutest orphaned grizzly cubs they are a year old and our little village has name them the hooligans!  They are into everything!

Just as the cubs finally went home for the day (they kept coming back!) it started to rain and it hasn’t stopped yet – looks like two days of rain here.

What a lively day!

Iced Coffee – My Newest Passion!

The other day we were all downtown shopping in what was the hottest day we have had here so far… so we stop for cold drinks. Well I also really wanted my coffee so no-brainer I ordered an iced coffee. (Because next to chocolate; coffee is my next fav food group!) Well I have to tell you this little coffee shop had the best coffee I have ever tasted! Yikes I can’t wait to go back and get some more by the pound! It is a combination of Columbian, Guatemalan & French Roast – wow!
